Frequently Asked Questions About Cancer Care

Treatment & Medical Care

How is my treatment plan decided?

Your treatment plan is personalized after a comprehensive review by our Tumor Board — a multidisciplinary panel of oncologists, surgeons, and specialists. They consider your diagnosis, test results, and overall health to recommend the most effective care.

What types of cancer treatments do you offer?

We offer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, supportive care, and access to expert consultations across medical, surgical, and radiation oncology.

Can I get a second opinion at EverHope?

Absolutely.. Our specialists will review your reports and help you understand all options available.

What if I want to stop treatment midway?

That’s your right. Our doctors will talk to you openly about the risks and benefits of every option — and support you without judgment.

Day Care & Experience at the Center

What is a typical day care session like?

You’ll be welcomed into a private chemo suite, where your vitals are checked, treatment administered, and our staff ensures you're comfortable. Refreshments and caregiver facilities are available throughout.

How long does chemotherapy take?

Depending on your treatment plan, a session can last anywhere from xx minutes to several hours. Your care team will let you know in advance.

Can a family member stay with me during treatment?

Yes. Every treatment suite is designed with a caregiver-friendly space where a loved one can work, relax, or stay by your side.

What if I have side effects after hours?

Our 24/7 oncology nurse line (XXX-XXX-XXXX) ensures you're never alone with concerns.

Caregiver Support

Do you offer support for caregivers?

Yes. We provide psychological counseling, caregiver support groups (coming soon), flexible scheduling, educational resources, and real-time updates so caregivers are never left in the dark.

Costs, Insurance & Financial Support

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We’re empanelled with all major government and private insurance providers for cashless or reimbursed treatment.

What if I don’t have insurance?

Our financial counselors will help you explore available support options, loans, and step-by-step guidance for managing treatment costs.

Appointments & Logistics

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online, call our helpline, or visit the center. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend scheduling in advance.

Do you offer home services?

Depending on your treatment plan, some follow-up care and diagnostics may be available at home. Please consult your care team.

Where is your center located and is parking available?

We are located in Gurugram, with ample patient and caregiver parking space, plus elevator access and waiting areas.

Preparing for Treatment

What should I bring on my first visit?

Carry your ID, insurance documents, and all relevant medical reports (CT scans, biopsy reports, prescriptions). Our team will guide you on anything else.

What should I eat before chemotherapy?

Our onco-nutritionist will guide you, but typically a light meal is advisable unless otherwise instructed.

Will I lose my hair during treatment?

Not all chemotherapy drugs cause hair loss. Our team will inform you based on your specific regimen. Scalp cooling (to reduce hair loss) will also be available soon.

Family, Children & Work

Can I keep working during treatment?

Many people do, depending on the type and schedule of treatment. We’ll help you plan around your energy levels and working hours.

What if I live far away or can’t take time off work?

We offer flexible appointment slots and are exploring options for virtual consults or home-based services for eligible patients.
